Our firm advised Neringa City Municipality in launching and organizing the tender for concession of utility and other public services and car parking in Neringa Municipality. We have consulted Neringa City Municipality on preparation of the feasibility analysis of the concession and drafted the conditions of the concession tender and concession contract itself.
- Roundtable Discussion on Real Estate
On 22 May 2009, Raidla Lejins & Norcous hosted a roundtable discussion Real Estate Business and Municipality Relations during Crisis: Can Positive Changes Be Expected?, which focused on real estate development projects and changes that market participants could expect in the public sector in the nearest future in relation to territory zoning, designing and property tax. The discussion was moderated by Aušra Mudėnaitė, head of the firm’s real estate and construction law practice group; presentations were delivered by representatives of the Vilnius City Municipality and state enterprise Center of Registers.
- Restructuring Assistance in Five Jurisdictions
Raidla Lejins & Norcous and a leading Finnish and Swedish law firm Roschier, which jointly form one of the largest international alliances RoschierRaidla, have launched an international restructuring and bankruptcy practice group to handle formal and informal insolvency and debt recovery procedures in five jurisdictions: Baltics, Finland and Sweden. The lawyers of the international group provide consultations to banks and private equity companies in concluding restructuring and insolvency related transactions, with the major focus on decisions related to borrowed funds.

On 14 May 2009, Raidla Lejins & Norcous together with the Association of Human Resources Professionals hosted a roundtable discussion Efficient Agreement in Case of Employee Dismissal. The case study discussion focused on the roles of the CEO and HR Manager when notifying an employee of dismissal, dispute prevention measures and other issues in relation to employee dismissal. The discussion was moderated by Julija Lisovskaja, associate lawyer of Raidla Lejins & Norcous employment law group.

- Discussion on Business Financing During Crisis
Raidla Lejins & Norcous together with international investment bank GILD Bankers hosted a discussion Business Financing during Crisis: Possibilities and Alternatives. The participants of the discussion were introduced to the general market situation, financing provided by financial institutions under the changed market conditions, as well as alternative financing sources.
