- Redevelopment of three sites in Belarus
Raidla Lejins & Norcous’ Vilnius office advised a foreign state fund responsible for management of state investment reserves on all formal and informal procedures related with redevelopment of three sites (approx. 20 ha) located in prime locations of Minsk, Belarus. The project was led by firm’s partner Aušra Mudėnaitė, with assistance of managing associate Skirmantė Klumbytė and the Belarus team at Raidla Lejins & Norcous. - Seminar on Employee Dismissal
On 11 December 2008, Raidla Lejins & Norcous together with a HR consultations company Primum Esse held a seminar Employee Dismissal Due to Structural Reorganization and Economic Reasons.
The seminar focused on the principal legal, social and economic aspects of employee dismissal, i.e. dismissal process (stages), problems encountered in each stage, management tasks, as well as psychological and legal aspects arising out of the process. - RoschierRaidla Competence Development
Our lawyers are continuing to take part in the extensive competence development programme of RoschierRaidla. As a part of the programe, a number of seminars “Core Legal Skills”, such as “Litigator’s Eye”, “Legal Risk Management” and “Agreement Drafting” were delivered by the Finnish colleagues to our lawyers via videoteleconference. Also, a group of our 10 lawyers attended “Share Purchase Agreement” training organized by RoschierRaidla Corporate Transactions practice group at Aulanko, Finland. - International conference: Investing into Belarus: When?
Raidla Lejins & Norcous is proud to announce that on 13 November 2008 hosted the international conference Investing into Belarus: When? The event was a great success. It was attended by more than 100 professionals from the leading Lithuanian and foreign companies.
At the conference an overview of emerging investment opportunities in Belarus were presented: the expert speakers analyzed economic prospects of the region, gave a comparative description of legal and tax aspects of investments, and presented investment opportunities in different industry sectors. The case of investment projects in Belarus market was presented as well.
