Successful Completion of the First Young Lawyers Mentoring Project
On 14 May, the Ministry of Justice hosted a ceremony to honour the closing of the young lawyers educational project Mentoring for Young Lawyers. The knowledge-sharing project was for the first time organised by Mykolas Romeris University Law Faculty’s Alumni Association. Law Offices Raidla Lejins & Norcous was the main supporter of the project.
During the project expert lawyers shared experience with 21 students studying law. Raidla Lejins & Norcous’ Managing Partner Irmantas Norkus and Managing Associate Paulius Markovas are happy having spent a useful half-year with their mentees, Miglė Mainionytė and Mantas Mališauskas.
“The purpose of this young, but brave project is to educate leaders who would not only be inspired by really outstanding mentors to attain the greatest heights in their professional career, but also planted a seed of patriotism and morality in their young and bright heads. We are highly grateful to the law professionals who participated in the project. The care they took of their mentees, the smiles of young lawyers and positive feedback supports our intentions to keep the project on the run in the following years”, says Lina Lėsutytė, Head of the project Mentoring for Young Lawyers.
Alongside with Raidla Lejins & Norcous’ lawyers, mentor assistance was also provided by the Minister of Justice R. Šimašius, the President of the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania V.
