The team’s expertise comprises advisory in security transactions, project finance, corporate and commercial loan structuring and documentation, managing debt restructures, advising on regulatory issues, provision of cross-border financial services into Lithuania, negotiation of loan agreements, drafting loan and security documentation. We represent local and international financial institutions in provision of loan facilities to Lithuanian borrowers, as well as assist Lithuanian clients in obtaining debt financing for LBOs, MBOs, acquisition and development projects. We set up the finance and securities practice subgroup at the beginning of 2011.

Recently our banking and finance law professionals acted in the acquisition of SEB real estate portfolio in the Baltics, drafted and negotiated security documents in relation to the financing of acquisition of the largest bakery chain in Nordics and Baltics, provided legal services on the stapled finance facility for the leveraged buyout of 100 per cent shareholding in the leading Baltic mobile operator, drafted and negotiatied loan and security documentation (according to LMA standards) on refinancing of Lithuanian borrower’s existing portfolio and provision of additional financing for future acquisitions, and acted on other significant assignments.
